After heartbreak in the previous season's playoff final, the Bees came back with a vengeance, showcasing some of the Championship’s most exciting football. Led by manager Thomas Frank, Brentford finished third in the league, with hotshot Ivan Toney smashing the record for most goals in a Championship season by netting 31 times. The drama peaked in the playoffs, where Brentford soared past Bournemouth in the semifinals before clinching promotion in style with a 2-0 victory over Swansea at Wembley. The win unleashed ecstatic celebrations as Brentford earned a top tier spot for the first time in their history – a fairytale season, and the start of a new era for the Bees!
