Everton’s 1994-95 Cup run was the ultimate underdog story, bringing joy back to Goodison during a tough season! Under new manager Joe Royle, the Toffees embraced a gritty “Dogs of War” spirit, overcoming Manchester Utd in the final with a stunning 1-0 victory courtesy of Paul Rideout’s header. Along the way, Everton knocked out Norwich, Bristol City, and Newcastle, building momentum and belief with each round. The final saw them face heavy favourites United at Wembley, but Everton’s defence held firm, and Rideout’s goal sealed their first major trophy in eight years.
